Trotzdem möchte ich die Viergelenker nicht missen. Kein Wippen, kein Kraftverlust, antriebs- und bremsneutral. Alle Rahmen dieser Technik sind mit dem Feature [4-LINX] gekennzeichnet. Wichtig bei den Fullies ist die richti- ge Einstellung und Pflege der Lager. Die meisten Modelle haben vorspannbare Lager mit einstellbarem Lagerspiel. Wer nichts pflegt oder planlos drauf los schraubt, kann schon mal für seine nächste Werkstattrechnung sparen. Außerdem montiere ich die Dämpfer und stelle sie auf das angegebene Fahrergewicht ein. Für jeden Rahmen gibt es einen Basisdämpfer und eine Auswahl an möglichen Alternativen. I align, chamfer, drill, set the RADO, mill the brake mount, clean the frame and stick on the decals. This is done pretty quickly with hardtails, but a lot more effort is required with 4 bar linkage frames. Nevertheless I wouldn’t do without the 4 bar linkage: No bobbing, no loss of power, neutral in braking and accelerating. All frames with this system are labelled with the feature [4-LINX] . The most important thing with a full suspension frame is the proper installation of bearings and of course their maintenance. Most of our full sussers have got preloadable bearings where the axial play can be adjusted. Those are marked with the feature [A-PLAY-A] . Those who don’t maintain or start screwing haphazardly had better start saving some money right now for the next workshop bill.
