AMT 3 Marco switched to the brand new ION14. The advantage of the bike is the small, agile and extremely rigid frame not to mention the reduced weight. Marco was therefore able pull off bunches of tricks during his ride. Additionally the ION14 enables you accelerate much faster giving you the spring up onto the rocks. The smaller frame with less travel was optimal for increasing the Trials skills. The ION14 took the Technical trail sections and big jumps in its stride. With Marco‘s drop skills no travel seems to be too short. He dropped down the same gaps as I did with the Helius AM, although not at the same pace, but with an equally soft landing. It‘s still a mystery to me how he manages to ride so smoothly ... watch the video and be amazed yourself. This year, we received support from CITEC a manufacturer of high quality and very lightweight wheels in Germany. As evidence of the stability they provided super light CITEC Ascender S wheelsets. The wheels have survived all of our stunts, without damages and you can trust us, we really didn‘t go easy on them. It‘s proof of their quality, despite of the scaringly low number of spokes. We would also like to thank the founder of the Miriquidi Trails and owner of the Forsthaus Frenzel Thomas Frenzel for his hospitality, for his passionate commitment and for his choice of location. A big thank you goes to Christoph Reiner Boesl from the Reiner Kopf agency, who gave us super functional Arcteryx jackets. Of course, a visit to the Miriquidi Trail is highly recommended. You won‘t find such a density of single trail networks of different technical degrees in Germany. And whoever takes the Miriquidi trails under their tires might bump into one of our film locations.
