BMXTB burst onto the scene in1996 and has gone through many stages of evolution. One characteristic that has remained to this day, however, is the VCS square profile rear end. In contrast to the robust dual slalom and dirt jump forefather the current BMXTB Race is a well-trained athlete carrying no extra around the middle. At the heart of this athletic build is the HWT Yoke (Hollow Weld Technology) 1 between chainstay and main frame, made of two hollow CNC machined pieces, welded together. Those redundant few grammes at the Gates Carbon Drive compatible dropouts 2 have also been shaved off. The training paid off in 2011 with the best ever World Cup result in Nicolai history; David Graf 3 took his BMXTB Race onto three 4X World Cup podiums, twice to 2nd place. But BMXTB Race is not only at home on World Cup podiums, it feels equally at home on the pump track and dirt jumps. Frank Schneider from Gates Carbon Drive is used to testriding the latest drivetrains on a pump track while his team-mate Marco Hoesel, (6x Trial World Champion) appears in shows and on television on his custom built BMXTB Trial. 3 Our most succesful race bike
