64 Entspannen A conseqence of the welding process is a softening of the material due to the influence of heat. Thus rendering the material incapable of enduring the rigours of mountain biking. The materials and processes we use however are both heat curable and adaptive. After welding and an initial realignment the frames go into the furnace. The resultant change in microstructure leads to an increase in various values, notably hardness, yield strength and tensile strength. As result we have a frame with all the necessary prerequisites for mountain biking. <e>
