Die Montage des Dämpfers in den vier verschiedenen Positionen des Umlenkhebels für Federwege von 88- 129 mm, bewirkt eine Anpassung der Geometrie an die korr- respondierenden Federgabellängen. So empfehlen wir bei- spielsweise für den Einsatzbereich Enduro eine Fox Vanilla RC Gabel in Kombination mit einem Fox Vanilla RC Dämpfer und für Tour oder Marathon Einsätze eine Fox Tallas RLC in Kombination mit einem DT SWISS Dämpfer. Für CC Race kann auch eine FOX Float 80 gefahren werden. Depending on how you equip your Helius CC it can be a Cross-Country or Marathon racer as well as a sturdy trail bike. Four possible shock set-ups on the rocker link vary the rear wheel travel from 3.5" to 5.25". The geometry will vary as well to acco- modate a fork of a corresponding length. For trail we recommend the use of something like a Fox Vanilla RC fork in combination with a Fox Vanilla RC rear shock. A Fox Talas RLC combined with a DT Swiss air shock would be well sui- ted for Marathons. Or combine the DT air shock with a Fox Float 80 for Cross- Country racing. A light and stiff 4-bar linkage design made from EASTON Ultralite tubing, intricate CNC'ed chainstay yoke and VCS lite chainstays make the Helius CC feel at home on even the most demanding Transalp Challenge. A 5 year warranty under racing conditions? Granted! Naturally the Helius CC is, like most of the NICOLAI range, ready for use with a ROHLOFF® hub. New for 2005 is the optional Ultralight Racekit which is also available as a retro-fit kit for older models.
